All "Info Tool" tools now have a "Report Issue" button that allows you to report wrong information for the item you are currently looking at on that tool very quickly.
Options include reporting an incorrect name for the item, inaccurate descriptions, broken links, spelling mistakes and reporting incorrect individual stats(depending on the stats of the item). Upon reporting you can share addition information should you choose.

Here is a summary of the DayZ Frostline expansion DLC:
1. Map: Frostline is primarily a new map called Sakhal, an untouched archipelago with diverse environments inspired by the Kumchetka Peninsula of far east Russia.
2. Survival Mechanics: Introduces new survival mechanics including items, diseases, new wildlife, unique structures, and snowfall.
3. Climate: Late winter setting with temperatures dropping as low as -30 degrees Celsius (-22 degrees Fahrenheit), offering a brutal survival experience if temperatures are the same as Kumchetka Peninsula.
4. Terrain: Varied terrain from lush forests, rolling grasslands, rugged coastlines, to bleak tundras, vast mountain ranges, and volcanic activity(or hazards related to volcanic activity).
5. Size: Sakhal is approximately 83km², larger than Namalsk's landmass(not including ice sheets), with similarities in survival mechanics.
6. Points of Interest: Littered with frozen lakes, a giant (inactive?)volcano, villages, and diverse landmarks, offering exploration opportunities. It is modelled from Tanoa and molded into an icey landscape.
7. Lore: Sakhal was rumored to be a safe haven but turned out to be as dangerous as other locations(Chernarus and Livonia), with harsh cold as an additional challenge.
8. Release Details: Scheduled for release with update 1.26 in the last three months of 2024, available on all platforms for around $30 as an expansion DLC.

10. Compatibility: Requires the base game, included in future DayZ bundles, with Chernarus and Livonia remaining pretty much unchanged.

DayZ Frostline Q and A:
1. When will Frostline be released?
The release of Frostline is set for Q4 2024, paired with our game update 1.26.
2. Will it be on consoles?
Yes, it will be available on all platforms: PC, Xbox and PlayStation.
3. What is the price of the new DayZ DLC?
There is no definitive for this currently, but it should be less than $30
4. DayZ 2 When?
As of now, we have no plans for a DayZ sequel. Our team is dedicated to refining, evolving, and adding
depth to the current DayZ experience.
5. Pre orders or early access?
There are currently no plans for pre-orders or early access.
6. Will there be a special bundle offer for purchasing the new DLC alongside the base game?
Yes.
7. Where is the Frostline DLC set in?
It is set in a rugged and forgotten volcanic archipelago in the far east, named Sakhal.
8. How large is Sakhal, and how does it compare to the original map?
Encompassing 83 km² of land, excluding the water surrounding the island, this is the most compact map
our team has developed. Nonetheless, it aims to offer increased level of interaction, intriguing point of
interests, and gameplay mechanics that necessitate a more cautious pace of movement to contend with the
challenging climate.
9. Is Sakhal ported from Arma 3 Tanoa? Why?
Yes. Developing a brand-new landscape is a time-intensive process. By having the general landscape features—
such as islands and hills—already defined, we were able to allocate our attention to refining other environmental
ental elements within the given timeline. This approach ensured that the end product would be a unique
map, with no compromise on detail or quality.
10. How is this DLC deviate from the base game?
The gameplay is designed to be a more severe and critical iteration of DayZ, featuring complex mechanics
that not only present substantial challenges but also offer a fresh experience to keep even veteran players
engaged.
11. Is Sakhal based on a real life location, much like all other official maps in DayZ?
Unlike previous official maps, Sakhal isn't based on a single real-life location; however, it is heavily inspired
by the Kamchatka Peninsula in the easternmost part of Russia.
12. How does the DLC integrate with the existing DayZ world? Is it a seamless transition? How does the Frostline enhance the storytelling or lore of the DayZ
universe?
As opposed to its mainland counterparts, Chernarus and Livonia, Sakhal was rumored to be a safe haven,
thanks to its isolation in the Far East and disconnection from the wider world. Enticed by its status as a
refuge, survivors who arrived on the island were tragically uninformed about the true nature of Sakhal, a
forgotten archipelago with ice in its vein and fire in its heart. Far from being a sanctuary, the island
presented a perilous journey that was more dangerous than any they had endured before.
13. Will the DLC include new assets, items?
Players can look forward to an array of winter cosmetics designed to combat the cold, as well as diverse
wilderness environments peppered with a variety of wildlife. The map will also enrich the DayZ experience
with new buildings, distinct areas, and intriguing points of interest that are in harmony with the overall
theme.
14. Are there any plans for DLC-exclusive events or community challenges?
No plans for now. But we'd love to collaborate with community for events in the near future on Sakhal.
15. Can we expect any changes or additions to the base game with the DLC?
There will be no changes to the base . Chernarus and Livonia will stay the same aside from somegame
minimal changes with 1.26.

This tool provides bar charts, a radar chart, area chart and an overall summary score based on the 5 main weapon stats(Damage, Range, Fire Rate, Control and Mobility). This tool is great for beginners, or those that don't care too much about complex stats and how they work, giving us a quick and simple look at the strengths and weaknesses of every weapon in the game without the need for prior knowledge.

-Typing a subcategory into the search bar will display all items in that subcategory.
-Greatly increased the accuracy of "Related loot" by including subcategories in the algorithm. This has reduced related loot spam too.
-Changed the main categories of several items to make more sense. For example, Sea Chest has been moved from Tools to Containers.
-Renamed and corrected many items to make them easier to search/find. For example, changing "Sedan 02" to "Sarka".
-Increased pagination results by one, showing two pages ahead and two pages behind now.
-Fixed a map issue on smaller devices displaying tiers in a misaligned manner.
-Despawn times now adapt from hours to minutes for items that despawn less than one hour after spawning.
-Added the DayZ Loot Finder Tool. This tool searches the Chernarus map and Livonia map to find the loot you are searching for. It then displays where to find this loot and how many spawn per server on the map you've chosen. You can search by item name, category(weapon, tool, food, etc) or loot tag(military, industrial, medic, etc).
-Added the Gold Deagle to the weapon tools.
-Added a "Loot Location" button to all Info Tools(Weapon, Ammo and Attachment). This button will show you where the current item you have selected spawns on Chernarus via the DayZ Loot Finder Tool. You can switch to Livonia if you wish on the tool itself.
-The News RSS Feed will now only output a maximum of 2000 characters as this is the maximum that is allowed to be sent to Discord for free. You can view the rest of the text on this website as a link will be included.

I'm back from my wedding/honeymoon and everything went great, thanks for all the kind words and support! :)
Now that I'm back, WOBO 2.0 can begin!
WOBO 2.0 includes regular website updates and related videos to back up the additions to the website.
For example, a DayZ Loot Finder Tool will be added to the website soon that will tell you exactly which areas(industrial, military, civilian, etc) specific items spawn in, along with the chance it has to spawn in those locations... The video that backs up this new tool will explain loot tags, loot tiers and other information. Both the tool and video are standalone, but support one another.
Moreover, with the addition of the recent WOBO Tools Patch #9, item databases can be added a lot more easily to the website. This means Clothing, Melee Weapons, Explosives, Armor, Base Building Objects, etc will be added and configured to work with all tools to display stats, loot locations and other information. Separate tools can then connect to these item databases to, for example, display the strength of base walls and armor in DayZ vs melee, explosives and firearms.
With the addition of specific item databases will come guides to explain what the stats mean and which items are best/worst in each database. For example, a DayZ Melee Weapon database will include a Melee Weapon Guide video that explains all categories of melee weapons, and which ones are best in which scenarios. The DayZ Community can then use the website to stay up to date from patch to patch with any changes to melee weapon stats via the Changelog and the tools that are configured to display melee weapon stats/info.
So WOBO 2.0 is the expansion of the website to create an additional online resource for DayZ information and stats. However, DayZ updates(such as 1.19) will always take priority over website updates in order to keep the community up to date with any DayZ changes, and WOBO.Tools is not intended to replace the DayZ Wiki. I have spoken to some contributors of the DayZ Wiki and they are free to use any info from this website as long as a link to the source of the info is provided for reference and crosschecking outdated/incorrect info. DayZ is an incredibly complicated and in-depth game that changes every patch; we need all the resources we can get to understand its mechanics and stay up to date. I strongly believe more resources of info is a great thing for the DayZ community, so I ask any contributors of the DayZ Wiki to continue contributing to the DayZ Wiki and not rely solely on WOBO.Tools. This applies to everyone, don't 100% believe any info on WOBO.Tools... It could be wrong/outdated.

-Added the ability to export item selections made on tools to other tools connected to the same database. Look for the "Export" text on some tools to transfer your selections to another tool.

Changed:
-Reworked a lot of stats to make them all positive. This means the longer the stat bar is, the better that stat is, allowing us to quickly see which stats are best.
-Stat bars now correctly display the best and worst items with that stat on. For example, a 0% stat bar means it is the worst item with that stat on compared to similar items, preventing skewed stat bars.
-Split all stats into Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Stats based on how relevant they are; Primary = 100%, Secondary = 25% and Tertiary = 5%.
-The Attachment Info Tool will now only compare the stats on items inside their own category. For example, handguards will only be compared to handguards on this tool.
-Limiting the attachment category on the Attachment Stat Tool will now compare the stats on items inside that category only. However, not having the limit on compares all attachments to all other attachments regardless of category.
-Removed the legacy Weapon Stat Comparison Tool due to it being deprecated by the new Weapon Comparison Tool.
-Moved Tracer Elidgibility to the description of the ammo type selected on the Ammo Info Tool.
-The Maximum Ammo Capacity stat has been merged with the Maximum Chamber Capacity stat on DayZ weapons.
-Buckshot Health Damage and Shock Damage are no longer per pellet, but an average of all 8 pellets(4 pellets). Buckshot is unpredictable due to RNG, hence this choice to average the damage to an average of 4 pellets.
-The Changelog now outputs percentage differences to quickly get an idea of how much a stat changed.
-Buffs or nerfs in the Changelog are now indicated by color. Green is a buff, red is a nerf.
-Updated the Rapid Fire sounds on the Weapon Sound Comparison Tool for weapons that had their RPM changed recently.

Health update:
I was recently diagnosed with impingement syndrome, which is a condition that causes long-term pain in your shoulder due to bones being too close together.
The only way to separate these bones is surgery or physiotherapy, which I've been doing for the past 2 weeks. However, to give my arm the best chance of recovering, I've decided to do 2 more weeks of physiotherapy. Because of this, I won't be creating content for 2 weeks while I focus solely on my arm.

Effectively, this creates a history of stat changes across all patches to detail each minor stat change from patch to patch. The Changelog automatically adapts to newly added databases and new items within those databases. For the first time, the DayZ Community has a detailed game file stat changelog... Very. Cool.
