DayZ Map Tool Update #1
Custom Map Pins:
- You can now add custom pins to your map, which your device will remember for future use. You can remove these pins individually or delete them all at once using the new "Delete Custom Pins" button in the Pins menu.
- Custom pins can also be shared with others via links(URL or by clicking the ❏ icon). Shared pins will appear temporarily on the recipient’s map and won’t affect their own custom pins.
- To save shared pins to your map, use the new "Save as My Pins" button in the Pins menu. This action will replace your current custom pins with the shared ones. Alternatively, use the "Show My Pins" button in the same menu to revert to your custom pins.

Loot/Tier Area Maps:
- Added a "Loot" menu to highlight Military, Police, Hunting, and other Loot Areas for all maps.
- Tiers 1–4 can now be highlighted too from the same menu, with interactive, color-coordinated areas similar to how Loot Areas work.
- Because we now have a loot menu, the search bar to find any piece of loot has been moved there.
Map Measurement Tool:
- Now snaps to pin coordinates while active, allowing you to measure distances, or plan routes, between pins when selecting them.
- This tool allows you to simultaneously place custom pins and a measurement node at the same time to create custom routes.
- Improved visibility of segment numbers.
Performance:
- Faster map loading with selective tile loading, reduced file sizes, and priority-based tile loading order.
Other:
- Added a map reset button to center and zoom out the map.
- Removed the search button as it's now in the new loot menu.
- Added two missing Water Spring Pins to Sakhal (Shantar and Solisko islands).
- Removed some map artifacts from Chernarus and Sakhal.
- Fixed a coordinates bug on Livonia; links to this map will now send you to the correct coordinates.
- Improved Loot Finder accuracy.
- M79 is now Tier 3 and 4 on Sakhal.
