Otherwise known as the Amphibia S, the MK II is one of the few weapons with a built in suppressor. It's good for distracting infected and causing bleeds on players, but lacks in damage because of the weak .22 Rounds it fires. The MK II Pistol is a good handgun to start with in DayZ, but is soon replaced with other firearms or used only in special circumstances.

The 22 Rounds fired by the MK II are always subsonic and will not make a weapon crack sound.

The Derringer is a double shot break action pistol that comes in grey, pink or black. While this weapon cannot double shot like the blaze, it fires the powerful .357 Rounds fired by the Magnum. At just 2 slots in your inventory and being very light, this small pistol packs a punch for how non-threatening it appears.
The Engraved 1911 and Kolt 1911 are the exact same when it comes to stats, apart from the fact that the Engraved version has a better iron sights for shooting targets further away(IMO). Fires .45 ACP Rounds.
Otherwise known as the FNX, the FX 45 Pistol fires the slow moving .45 ACP Rounds. In the earlier versions of DayZ, the FNX Pistol was considered to be one of the better handguns in DayZ.
Otherwise known as the Makarov, the IJ 70 fires .380 Rounds and is one of the smallest guns in DayZ. The IJ 70 Pistol has low accuracy and damage, but does allow the Pistol Suppressor gun attachment.

Otherwise known as the Encore, the Longhorn is one of the most powerful pistols in DayZ and is a break-action handgun. While all weapons that use the .308 Rounds do a lot of damage, the Longhorn only fires 1 round at a time, so you'll have to make it count. Despite its size, it fits inside chest holsters like other pistols. The Longhorn is a deadly weapon when combined with the Pistol Optic.
Otherwise known as the Revolver, the Magnum is one of the most badass handguns in DayZ and packs a punch with its high damage .357 Rounds. The Revolver can currently not be used to play Russian Roulette with. The Revolver is one of the few firearms in DayZ that has no gun attachments.

The P1 Pistol is a second world war era weapon similar to the Walther P38, or upgraded Luger. It uses 9mm Rounds and is considered a low-tier weapon in DayZ
Otherwise known as the Revolver, the Sawed Off Magnum is one of the most badass handguns in DayZ and packs a punch with its high damage .357 Rounds. The Sawed Off Magnum has worse stats than the regular Magnum, but it is almost as potent. The Revolver is one of the few firearms in DayZ that has no gun attachments. The Sawed Off Magnum can be crafted by combining a Magnum with a hacksaw.
Sidearms are valuable for their small size and always provide a sniper with some security in close quarters combat. Pistols in DayZ lack in damage, range and Magazine size but are not too rare of find in low tier looting areas and are very easy to conceal in most pieces of clothing. Handguns can still pose a threat to most players, but armor reduces their damage significantly due to the low caliber pistol ammunition they use.
There are several different action types for pistols, including semi-automatic and revolver. Revolvers must be manually cycled after each shot; semi-automatic pistols use the recoil from the previous cartridge to fill the chamber with the next ammunition.
Weapons in DayZ can be split into serveral weapon categories that are as follows: Assault Rifles, Sniper Rifles, Sub Machine Guns, Rifles, Shotguns, Pistols and Projectile Firearms.
DayZ weapons have a lot of stats that impact how a weapon will react to different situations. These stats can be changed slightly or drastically by attaching attachments to your weapons in DayZ.
Rifles are long firearms that are powerful and can hit targets accurately at range. Making them a great choice stealthy players that like to shoot from a distance.
Shotguns are incredible dangerous up close, but lack in effectiveness at medium and especially long distance. Shotguns are best used in urban combat for this reason.
Handguns are compact firearms that can only be shot and handled with one hand. They are less powerful and accurate than rifles, but they are more concealable and portable. They are classified into several categories, including revolvers and pistols. While the cylinder of a revolver rotates in place of a magazine, the magazine of a handgun may hold a significant number of rounds.
