The 1.14 Flashbang Buff
DayZ Tip
The flashbang got a major buff in patch 1.14 and will now make your screen 100% white for 8 seconds.
You can still look away from the flashbang before it explodes to avoid this white screen effect, but the flashbang will cause a ringing sound for 8 seconds, reduce your health by 20, reduce your volume by 25%, reduce your stamina to 0, and interrupt continuous actions like eating.
Regular grenades are still better, but the flashbang is much improved from the last patch and has a range up to 20 meters now.
