DayZ Tip
All firemodes have a different sound depending on if you are selecting semi-auto, burst-fire, double-shot and full-auto.
These sounds can be heard up to 10 meters away by players, with walls not impacting the loudness of the switching sound.
Learning the sounds can help aid you in determining what your enemy will do next, and where they are positioned.
Note: This sound used to be set at 50 meters, so is much quieter now.
