Bolt Durability
DayZ Tip
Crossbow bolts have a unique stat assigned to them that increases how quickly they take damage when they are launched at a surface.
It doesn't matter which surface the bolt gets stuck in or if it deflects, because the durability damage is applied to the bolt when launched, not when impacting a surface.
Here are the amount of times you can launch the 3 types of bolt from pristine to ruined:
Improvised Bolts: 4 shots
Feathered Bolts: 5 shots
Hunting Bolts: 12 shots
During the experimental version of 1.21 these numbers were much higher.
