DayZ Sub Machine Gun Category
Sub Machine Gun, or SMGs, are inferior to Assault Rifles but better than most Pistols. They're the middle-ground between fast rate of fire and small size for a firearm. What these small guns lack in damage and range they make up for in being much easier to find in lower tier loot areas and commonly use low tier ammo generally found in low tier areas too, meaning you don't have to go far to find a Sub Machine Gun with a corresponding Magazine and/or Ammunition in DayZ
Submachine guns are uniquely suited for close-quarters fighting when compared to other types of firearms due to their small size, rapid rate of fire, and usage of pistol rounds. In urban and close-quarters combat situations, they are frequently used by military and law enforcement groups as well as by criminals.

They are classified into several categories, including revolvers and pistols. While the cylinder of a revolver rotates in place of a magazine, the magazine of a handgun may hold a significant number of rounds.
