The DayZ community is buzzing with excitement as rumors swirl that crossbows are coming to the game in the next big update, DayZ 1.21. With a recent image release from the devs, players have dissected every detail to confirm that the crossbow is indeed coming. But how will it work in the current version? Based on previous iterations, we can expect the crossbow to pack a serious punch and have a unique feature of allowing players to reuse bolts. This could make it one of the best weapons for dealing with infected and stealthily taking out players. And if bolts stick in surfaces, this could pave the way for bows and crafted arrows to be added to the game.
