In DayZ, players need to max out their stats in order to achieve a high level of immunity to diseases. This is difficult to maintain as hunger and thirst drain twice as fast when near maximum energy and hydration. However, it is possible to achieve a stat meta where you can maintain immunity and maximum health and blood regeneration by maintaining over 800 hunger stat and 3500 thirst stat. This way, players can avoid diseases while not needing to consume food as often as other more indulgent players.
